Basics
Always apply makeup in direct or even-sided light. Never one-sided light. Look around for the best light in your house.
Apply creams with cream first - then powder with powders. Blow excess powder off inside-disc after every brush use. Wash brushes (with any hand soap) once a week.
Don't throw away acetate cover, it keeps makeup disc clean
Spot concealer: Everyone's 'spots' are different. Find the right color or combination to cover your spots. Apply with point of brush. Pat in, don't smear. It's concentrated, so use sparingly! Then powder just spots
Tip: If you've used foundation, apply Spot Concealer directly on top, then lightly powder your whole face.
Sheer Concealer: Lightly brush or pat directly on shadows or red areas. Remember - gently pat in, don't smear! Everyone's shadows are different and move as we age - especially to the sides of your nose near eye corners. Brush of pat in until concealer blends in evenly.
Tip: Apply on top, if using foundation, then powder
Contour shadow: Stroke brush 2-3 times on pan - blow off excess powder. Brush under chin from ear to ear without going down neck unless double chin coverage is needed. Press bristles to form a straight line and draw across wartles. Blend in!
Blush: Lightly brush over cheekbones, center for forehead and eyelids. Blend evenly.
For Lips: pat in color, over lip blam from the center of lips across to outer corners.
Pooches + nose: Pooches are protruding fatty deposits between the eyelid and nose. Darkening recedes the pooch, creating an instant eye-lift. Dab directly on top of pooch 3 or 4 times avoiding contact with Sheer Concealer applied earlier. (Try eyebrow brush for hard to reach pooches!)
To shorten nose: Lightly brush across bottom of nose.
To narrow nose: Lightly brush down the sides from top to bottom.
Eyebrow: Any combo of brown powders in kit can be used for eyebrows. Most brows look better lighter than dark and not too thin.
Fill in holes and gaps only. Extent brow ends 1/4 to 1/2 inch in tiny stronkes if needed. (Most brows shorten from over-plucking.)
Wet/Dry Eyeliner: For day use dry, for darker line wet your brush
