During a Magical Walk

Every morning on the coast at Ras Kutani, I walked to breakfast thru these flowers that had bloomed and fallen at night. I felt like at a Balinese wedding. (Continual African Magic!)

Local Savior

My friend, Carter Coleman, of the African Rainforest Conservancy. 20 years ago, I told him stories of Africa. Instead of going to Harvard Law, he moved to Tanzania and started ARC to save the Rainforest that he and his tame eagle were hang gliding over. He got local villagers involved and they’ve replanted over a million trees. Lots and Lots of Animals

This is Hidden Valley, Tanzania.  Just an oval depression in the plain with one tree. There were about 1⁄2 million gnus and zebras behind those guys just over the horizon. It reminded me of an old cowboy movie with Apaches lining the rim of the depression all the way around.
