About Lauren's Logo
The "V" in Lauren's logo is one of the most ancient of symbols. It has been found on the walls of prehistoric caves, on rocks and pottery from pre-Columbian America, and in Bronze Age Europe. The symbol is associated with growing, (re)birth, and genesis.
In Egyptian hieroglyphs it was used to signify woman and the female sex. As a sign for growing it implied that woman, the female, was the originator of life.
