The last thing we need is yet another makeup company. Even I have a nervous breakdown when I go through the department store makeup floor. Cosmetic companies never really made makeup for us before because they didn't think we needed different stuff. Well, we do. This is professional makeup different from anything you've ever tried and it will make a difference in your life. It will make you look and ultimately feel years younger. I call it invisible makeup and I've been using it for the last 14 years.

As we age, our faces demand different beauty products and different ways to put them on. When I went back to modeling at 46, nobody knew how to deal with a 46 year old model! I was terrified that I wouldn't be able to work again because I hated the way some makeup artists made me look (much, much older). So, I studied my face and hit the mirror, mixing mortar and pestle until I found out what worked. Not only did I develop great makeup but I learned where to put it properly, because just as important as the makeup is how and where to put it.

I put together what I learned in over four decades of working with almost every type and brand of makeup in the world (I bought and tried almost everything when I traveled). The tricks I've learned along the way from great makeup artists from the 60's, 70's, 80's 90's and new Millenium—all helped me figure out exactly what I needed to look good and keep working.

It took me years to make the application process as simple as possible (Lord knows, I never want to waste any more of my time in mirrors) then when I finally had it, I tried it on my girlfriends and their friends and people on the street and they all loved it. They said I had to start my own company, which I did. I believe in it so much that I invested my own money to start Lauren Hutton's Good Stuff.

I guess traditionally they hadn't. But I knew, we, the biggest, wealthiest, and healthiest generation of women in the world's history were going to need makeup. So here it is.
